Former Tennessee WR Corey Davis has agreed to terms on a three-year, 37.5 million dollar contract with the New York Jets.
Davis, 26, had three underperforming seasons in Tennessee after being drafted with the fifth overall pick in 2017. After a 2020 season in which he put up nearly 1,000 yards and 5 touchdowns, he was able to cash big in free agency.
This is a huge signing for the Jets. They sorely lack reliable receiving threats. They’ve actually only ever had six 1,000 receiving yard seasons and just three this decade. Hopefully, Davis will be putting up numbers for Gang Green in 2021.
