This upcoming Saturday, October 21st, the Ultimate Fighting Championship will be putting on arguably one of the best events of the year. With the UFC 294 Card in trouble a mere week before the event, Uncle Dana stepped in and was able to make this card even better than before.

Not only are we getting the Championship rematch between Islam and Volk, Dana also blessed the boys with an Usman vs Khamzat match that determines who Sean Strickland, Champion of Middleweight, will fight next. Besides the two main events, this card also features many star studded names throughout the main event including Johnny Walker, Said Nurmangedov, and a handful more.

Not only that! We also are fortunate to have some great fights set for the undercard as we can see talented prospects including Shara Magomedov making his debut.

Nurmagomedov lost in an absolute war to rising star Jonathan Martinez his last fight and I personally think this next fight set up for him is by far am easier matchup. Said has the advantage on the ground is still a solid striker. This fight is a get-back for Said. HAMMER IT.

Obviously I’m not going to bet Ikram ML at -600, but of course I want some action on this fight. Now I have been very conflicted on what to bet. Have been very indecisive between an Ikram KO/TKO bet and an Ikram Submission. If you can read, you should know what option I am going with.

Alves took a year off after being KO’d by Jeremiah Wells back in 2021 and is now returning to fight the ferocious Ikram. I’m riding this bet for two reasons.

1. Ikram wants to send a message.

By message I mean I think he is going to come out of the gate firing on all cylinders and go for the big finish. The only person he has ever lost to is Khamzat back in 2019 under the Brave promotion. Ikram wants a quick finish and I think this is the perfect place.

2. Warlley Alves 1-Year Break

This man is not Jon Jones. Feel like after being KO’d Warlley lost his chin, and that’s what I’m betting on.

Last fight I think you could easily make the argument for either side who won.

This time around, Volk is fighting on a 12 day notice to becomes a Champ in multiple divisions. Obviously I think Islam has all the advantages here, but when you can get Alexander Volkanovski at +205 you take it.

Volk needs to stuff Islam’s takedowns and keep this on the feet. I really think that’s the only way he wins and I really do think that’s possible. I mean, Volk did say he is winning via. KO…

I got this line as soon as I saw it on my book Monday morning. Volk won against Islam back in February at UFC 284, he got absolutely screwed by the judges and he should be double champ. No matter, Volk is taking this fight against Islam with a little less than two weeks’ notice but we all know he has been waiting for his chance to take a shot at the Lightweight Championship belt again. Don’t be confused about these odds Volk is the Top Pound for Pound fighter in UFC and he is going to show it the cage Saturday. Queue Down Under and watch your money double!
