Thanksgiving 2024: Preview & Picks for Degenerates

Thanksgiving 2024: Preview & Picks for Degenerates

The greatest holiday (to most, not our friend Dalton) has arrived! Below the fellas share each of their picks for this beautiful Thursday Football slate.

Who has it better than us? Nobody.

God. Family. America. Football.

Operation Bankrupt Vegas begins now…

*12:30 PM E.T. – Bears @ Lions*

Emperor’s Picks:

Over 47.5 (-110) 1u

You think I’m not going to start my Thanksgiving day rooting for points? Piss off muppet. T

he Lions are one of (IF NOT) the best offensives in football and have shown they can cover the total on their own.

That said, the new Bears offense looks sharp, Caleb is coming into his own, I love the Bears scoring a few TDs to propel this game total over.

Caleb Williams o21.5 Completions (-115) 1u

For the past 2 games with the new OC in town, Caleb has cleared this over.

Expect the Lions to take an early lead forcing Bears to opt to the passing game. Caleb is heating up,Bears will probably be losing, I’m loving this bet.

Jameson Williams o49.5 Rec Yards (-105) 1u

Jamo has cleared this over in all games besides two. Bears struggle against WR2s.

The man will feast on Thanksgiving.

TRUST!

Jameson Williams TD (+260) 1u

This man is feasting so why wouldn’t I bet his TD ?

Rome Odunze TD (+375) .66u

Been sitting on this for a little while now and a friend at the bar of Thanksgiving Eve said this is the play. So… this is the play. Thanks T.

King Will’s Picks:

Deandre Swift o13.5 receiving yards (-113) 1u

Deandre Swift is 7-4 to the over on this number. One of those games came in week 1 against the titans when the bears totaled their season low in total yards. Another of those 4 unders was by the hook (he had 13 yards). Swift has blown this number away in all 3 of his dome games this year. This year Detroit has blown teams out and allowed very few yards, however they have allowed Aaron Jones, Tony Pollard and Joe Mixon, to all surpass this number in the past 5 weeks.

I believe tomorrow will be a day when Caleb will be under duress, but I believe he has grown enough to understand when the check down to the RB is the smart play. Expect DeAndre swift to find some easy yards in the pass game and easily clear his 13.5 total.

Bonus Plays:

(FanDuel offering +240 for 25+ receiving yards) – recommended

(FanDuel offering +175 for anytime TD)- As I do not foresee the bears scoring to many points, may want to stay away

Burger’s Picks:

Sam Laporta TD (+240) 1u

Laporta has had a tough season so far, but I expect him to find himself in the endzone on thanksgiving. We just watched the bears give up 100 yards to hockenson and Addison because they were so focused on jettas.

I expect similar treatment for Amon ra, to open up more opportunities for Laporta to revive his season.

Logan’s Picks:

Keenan Allen o49.5 yds receiving (-113) 1u

Allen has had a subpar year by his standards but this line is absolutely fantastic for a few reasons. He’s coming off a game where he was targeted 15 times and it looks like he’s emerged has Caleb’s favorite receiver. 49.5 is super low for a guy who should see 8+ targets tomorrow. Caleb Williams also looks like he’s starting to get in a bit of flow these last few weeks. Even though the numbers aren’t what anybody expected, the improvement has shown in his game recently. Which brings me to why I love this line so much. The lions rank 25th in pass defense this year which means the Bears game plan is likely to air it out. If Caleb is gonna throw the ball 30 times I don’t see how Allen won’t surpass 49 yards it just wouldn’t make sense. Over 49.5 yards is the safe play but I would even look at the alt lines of 60+ and 70+. I’m expecting a big day from him tomorrow.

Anyway enjoy some thanksgiving football with your fam, grab a beer, throw a band on this play, and then thank me when it hits.

Shep’s Picks:

Lions -9.5 (-112) 1u

The Lions have covered against every sub .500 team this season. And Da Bears are ass.

Santi’s Picks:

Doctor Candi’s Picks

4:30 PM E.T. – GMen @ Cowboys

Emperor’s Picks:

Malik Nabers o49.5 Rec Yards (-157) 10u *LEGACY BET*

If you’ve been keeping up with the New York Sports world you know WR1 has voiced his frustrations. He wants the ball. And oh boy he’s gonna get it. Drew Lock is the new sheriff and our boy is gonna put up numbers!

If Devito was playing I was still rockin with it btw.

Drew Lock o193.5 Passing Yards (-110) 10u *LEGACY BET*

To those that know me (Your Emperor), you knew this coming. Today we feast like kings. Today is the day Drew Lock saved Thanksgiving. TODAY IS THE DAY DREW LOCK SHOWS THE WORLD HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN QB1 ALL ALONG.

A pissed off Drew Lock making his first GMen start ever against a divisional rival and you don’t think I’d make this a legacy bet?!? I mean, this man was one of the first ever members of the Cassidy QB Tree…

Lock is putting on a show. Nabers is putting on a show. Let Drew Cook. #Legacy

Malik Nabers TD (+240) 1u

He hasn’t had a TD since week 3. WR1 will feast on this Thanksgiving holiday.

HE IS DUE!

CeeDee Lamb o6.5 Receptions (-115) 1u

Lamb is by far Rush’s favorite target on the team. The 4 games Rush has been QB, CeeDee has gotten double digit targets. And he has gotten this over 3/4 times in those games as well.

Facing a bad Giants secondary tomorrow, you gotta love it.

Drew Lock o1.5 Passing TDs (+270) .66u

I’m a Drew Lock guy, what else is there to say?

Ezekiel Elliot TD (+340) .5u

It’s Thanksgiving and the boy Zeke loves eating. Fun half unit sprinkle here.

Drew Lock TD (+800) .33u

Don’t even ask why.

Malik Nabers 2+ TDs (+2200) .33u

WHY NOT? This already dropped down to +1600 on Bet365. I love this for a fun Lotto sprinkle.

King Will’s Picks:

NYG +3.5 (-112) 1u

Giants were embarrassed last week against the Bucs. Now drew lock steps in and the Giants will win their final game of the season to embarrass the Cowboys who are riding high after an emotional divisional win. I’ve seen this movie before. Giants moneyline will help feed families this Thanksgiving.

Burger’s Picks:

Tyrone Tracy Jr. o11.5 rec yards (-113) 1u

We just watched the giants look horrible against the Bucs last sunday. If they want a chance vs the cowboys they will have to get one of there best playmakers involved in Tyrone Tracy. I expect some opportunities in the pass game for a former WR.

Logan’s Picks:

Santi’s Picks:

Ceedee o6.5 receptions (-114) 1u

I’m not gonna not bet on Ceedee against these Giants DB’s. Cooper rush is a capable QB, the giants are simply bad. I’m going with the catches for Lamb here because Rush absolutely loves to throw short. I see drew lock as an upgrade, and Dallas has been a nightmare on defense as well lately – so I don’t think this becomes a blowout where we see the cowboys chewing clock that much.

Doctor Candi’s Picks:

Jigo’s Picks:

Shep’s Picks:

Ric’s Picks:

8:20 PM E.T. – Dolphins @ Packers

Emperor’s Picks:

Love + Tua 485+ Passing Yards (-115) 2u

I’m tailing Candiotti, that’s my reason. Trust the Doctor. I just couldn’t find the 500+ Yard combo, settled with this one on DK.

King Will’s Picks:

Josh Jacobs o17.5 rush attempts: (-114) 1u

Jacobs is on a tear And establishing himself as one of the best backs in football. With Jordan Love throwing interceptions at a Brett Farve pace, Matt lafluer will turn to his trustee tailback. The packers brought in Jacobs for cold nights on short weeks against a dolphins team that has been soaring high. With the dolphins allowing a league average 4.3 yards a carry, look for Josh Jacobs to carry the ball 20+ times against the dolphins tonight.

Burger’s Picks:

De’von Achane 25+ rec yards (-162) 1u

Achane is almost a lock to cover these yards every game. With Waddles resurgence and Jonnu coming out of nowhere, I expect more opportunities for achane and wouldn’t be surprised if he had 40+ yards.

Logan’s Picks:

Santi’s Picks:

Tucker Kraft o31.5 rec yards (-110) 1u

Feel like he’s somewhat gone under the radar throughout the month of November. With Doubs out I like him to step right in and be a top option behind Reed tonight. The dolphins have been weak against the TE position as of late, Wicks/Watson will have to deal with Ramsey on the outside – the targets should be there for Kraft who also excels in YAC.

Doctor Candi’s Picks:

Love + Tua 500+ Passing Yards (+120) 1u

This is gonna be extremely square but Love and Tua to combine for 500+ passing yds +120. Both teams have 3+ players capable of explosive plays I’m not gonna try to guess who’s gonna pop off. I think both teams might struggle to establish the run and go pass heavy.

Jigo’s Picks:

Shep’s Picks:

Ric’s Picks:

Parlays/Bonus Plays

Emperor’s Picks:

  • The Thanksgiving Cassidy QB Tree Parlay (-152) 5u
    • Drew Lock 1+ TD Passes
    • Jordan Love 1+ TD Passes
