Doctor DFS: Super Bowl LIX

Welcome to the final Doctor DFS article of the season!!! If you’re new here, the DFS lineups have been absolutely printing. For those of you who are interested in how it works or some extremely useful strategies when generating lineups, check out my previous article. I’ll link that below:

This week I am going to provide 2 different lineups, 1 that I will be using for larger pools and 1 that I will be using for H2Hs and 50/50s. Ideally, when you submit a lineup in larger pools you want to be the only person who has that particular lineup so when you finish #1 you do not have to split that money with anyone else. When there is only 1 game involved in a DFS lineup it’s called “Captain Mode” and the points accumulated by the captain of your lineup are multiplied by 1.5x. DraftKings DFS is different from FanDuel because the price tag on your captain is also 1.5x.

Highest Projection Lineup:

*use this for H2H’s and 50/50’s*

Now, going for highest projection it’s pretty necessary to include Hurts, Mahomes, and Saquon in the lineup. We’re only submitting this lineup in H2Hs and 50/50s so we’re not shooting for too much upside and we are not concerned with roster percentage here. This lineup does afford you the opportunity to choose either Mahomes or Hurts as your captain. I have Hurts projected slightly higher, but it’s very close. I’d go with whoever you feel better about or maybe have 1 lineup of each. Dallas Goedert and Hollywood Brown come in at great values, and Samaje Perine appears to be the only player under $2000 that could see meaningful snaps.

High-Upside Lineup:

*use this for larger tournament pools*

Now, for these larger tournament pools, roster % becomes important. The most likely path to victory is through making a roster move that no one has. There’s a few things in this lineup that I think set us apart. (1) Not a lot of people will have Dallas Goedert as captain. I think he has a lot of upside and this move saves us A LOT of money, allowing us to avoid rostering a $1200 Samaje Perine. To finish #1 these larger pools we can’t have any players dropping single digit fantasy points. You probably noticed this lineup also does not include Saquon Barkley. I expect Saquon to be rostered in over 80% of lineups. He can have a great real game but there’s a realistic possibility (I’d say about 40% chance) that he does not score a touchdown and finishes with 15 or fewer points. If that’s the case it’s going to be difficult for anyone who spent $12,000 or $18,000 (captain) on Saquon to finish #1, so that opens the door for our lineup. A good alternative lineup can be created by replacing Worthy and Devonta Smith with Kareem Hunt and Kelce. I’m definitely going to have at least 1 lineup with that variation. Both of these lineups present lots of upside.

Thank you for all of my followers, and as always….let’s get rich one last time!!!!
