Santi’s Picks:

Chiefs ML (-120) 2u 

I’m riding with the baby goat in this one in hopes that Mahomes and company can make history with a third consecutive Super Bowl. In my opinion the Chiefs are a better team than they were last year, which still resulted in a ring. The same narrative repeats itself, their opponent is looking for “revenge” with the addition of a superstar running back. I don’t buy it. This bet isn’t even on Mahomes, I know he’ll do his thing, my wager is essentially on Spagnuolo. The Chiefs haven’t allowed a 100 yard rusher in their last EIGHTEEN playoff games. I expect Saquon to be the focal point of the Chiefs defensive gameplan, leaving Hurts to be the one to really step up. Unfortunately for Hurts, I believe he’s still not 100%, I also simply don’t believe in Hurts quite frankly. He’s not good under pressure, the Chiefs will bring that. The Eagles are a talented team but the Chiefs have the defensive, coaching, and QB advantages. At the end of the day, defense wins championships and Jalen Hurts does not.

This game opened up at -2 chiefs and is currently sitting at -1.5, leaning 1. From a betting perspective I think come kickoff you might see the eagles move into the favorite, so if you’re betting the birds I’d get it in now, if it’s on the chiefs I’d wait it out. From a game perspective, the chiefs haven’t seen a team filled with game breakers like the eagles. As easy as it is to say you can “sell out” against Saquon and make Jalen beat you, you still have to do it on game day. Jalen proved last week he can beat you, and he has 3 stud weapons outside of saquon plus the best the best offensive line in the NFL to do it. It’s time to smoke that emperor pack when the birds win the Super Bowl with his old friend Saquon Barkley.

Not doubting Mahomes ever. He is truly unstoppable. Spagnolas defense will be able to contain saquon and stop hurts from converting the tush push at least sometimes and that’s all they gotta do. The chiefs are a better coached team it will show on Sunday.

I am a certified chiefs hater, but how am I supposed to bet against them when it is clearly rigged for them. My heart says to take the Eagles, but my brain says there is no way the NFL lets Goodell’s special boy (Mahomes) lose. The only probable way the chiefs lose is if Mahomes gets hurt and Carson Wentz comes in. The NFL clearly has an agenda and it’s not one that includes the Eagles. All Hail King Mahomo!

NFL will let there be a lot of scoring this game to make it an entertaining game and so everyone can see the greatness of our lord and savior King Mahomo. Of the decade. NFL wants them to win a 3 peat. Every week people doubt them and they find ways to win. The Spags defense is special, Reid doesn’t get enough credit as a HC. Are the Eagles talented? Yeah, but phuck filly. The fans don’t deserve and tbt to early in the season where they wanted sirianni fired. Big Dom is a big bitch, fake tough guy. Only thing that’s scared of him is a 12 pack of doughnuts. Chiefs will find a way and will be another step closer to knocking out the pats/brady/bellicheat from the record books. With this bet we essentially have a guaranteed attempt from Hunt, Pacheco, Mahomes, Saquon, Hurts and Gainwell (6), anyone gets hurt – we should get a 7th guy for free. I’d imagine they will get a Worthy rush attempt and I think the Eagles think outside of the box to get their run game going against a Chiefs defense that is trying to prevent it. Weird shit happens in the Super Bowl, maybe we cash this on a fake punt or something, this one feels good.

Dallas Goedert o50.5 receiving yards (-110) 2u

Going off my previous bet on the Chiefs defense, there is no strength without a weakness. The Chiefs are susceptible against tight ends and this goes hand and hand with me believing that the game will be taken out of Saquons’ hands. Goedert has proven to be efficient when needed and the Chiefs are allowing a league worst 67.2 receiving yards per game to opposing TE’s. While I do think Goedert finds success through the air, the Chiefs oddly rank extremely well against TE’s in the red zone, so I’d just take his yards and stay away from his touchdown props.

Doctor Candi’s Picks:

At this point the lines have gotten so spart, I’m just looking for any “buy low” or “sell high” spots, and I found a couple props that I think have some really good value. 

Isiah Pacheco o5.5 Rushing Attempts (-130) 1u

Coming off the injury, Pacheco has been extremely underwhelming. Many assumed he’d regain control of the starting job over Kareem Hunt very quickly and that just hasn’t happened. While I do think Kareem Hunt will lead the KC Chiefs in carries I don’t think the split is going to be as lopsided as these lines are suggesting. This feels like an overreaction to Pacheco only getting 5 of the teams 35 carries. The chiefs know that Pacheco, when healthy, is their best option on the ground. I think with another 2 weeks to rest and recover we’ll see a little more involvement. The Chiefs team total rush attempt line is 25.5. Projecting Pacheco for about 20% of the team carries in the Super Bowl just feels like the absolute floor. I think there’s a chance he surpasses this line in the 1st half if things break the right way for us. 

Saquon Barkley longest rush UNDER 25.5 yards (-120) 1u

I thought about taking this same line last week and I’m very glad I backed off of it because he popped off a 60 yard rushing TD on the first play. However, after that, not too many explosive plays. The Chiefs defense is the best tackling team in the NFL. I don’t think they’re going to be able to completely shut Barkley down, you can’t exactly sell out to stop the run against this dynamic offense. However, I do believe KC will limit the big-play ability and make Hurts drive down the field and put together some 10-15 play drives in order to score. I love Saquon but a 25.5 longest rush line is very high against any team, and there is no one I trust more than KC to stay disciplined and not miss tackles.

Jalen Hurts & Patrick Mahomes to each record 15+ Passing Yards per quarter (-110) 1u

This is a Hurts bet (not worried about the second greatest QB to walk the planet). As you’ll see below, I love Hurts passing overs this game. Of course I had to lock this in.

I can only see the Eagles winning this game one way and that’s because of Hurts throwing the ball successfully. 

I think Spags forces Philly to throw the ball this game and we can get a great performance by Jalen here. Fuck Philly but I love all the overs on Jalen for the big game.

We all know the Chiefs (Spags) mindset going into this game is to shut down Saquon Barkley and force Hurts to throw. I love this game plan because I want the Chiefs to win, but I also believe Hirts will be throwing the ball all game long. Having 2 of the top WRs in the game, I love this over. Just check out Jalen’s passing stats last Super Bowl. The man was slinging it without Saquon or AJ.

I expect Hurts to clear this over with ease. 

DeVonta Smith o4.5 Receptions (+100) 1u

Expecting Jalen to throw the ball a lot here.  I also expect AJ to get the most attention from the Chiefs. This just sets up a DeVonta game. Love all his overs as you’ll see below.

Now we have arrived to the DHop glazing portion of my picks. All I’m going to say is give this man the keys to that shithole city we all know as Philadelphia.

In his career against Philly, DHop is averaging 8 receptions, 129.3 Receiving Yards, and 0.7 TDs. IN THREE GAMES (2014, 2018, & 2020) he has torched this team. Clearly he hasn’t done anything the past few games if you just do a quick google search. Andy and Mahomes clearly have cooked some plays up for the future HOF WR in this game.

Championship DeVonta. He’s on a bit of a drought regarding catching a TD so I’m loving this price here. I think Spags will shut down the run game for Philly making them rely on Hurts throwing the ball. Love this spot for DeVonta to make some big plays this game. Fuck Philly though. 

Dallas Goedert TD (+350) 1u

Having a fantastic playoff run this season, I expect Goedert to continue to get looks. Spags plan is most likely to focus on shutting down the running game which will lead to a lot of passing opportunities for Goedert to make a play.

In his 3 playoffs games this year, Goedert is averaging 6 targets per game. Love the price on him here. Why not us. Fuck Philly though. 

DHop TD (+500) 1u

Is it just me or does it feel like any old Superstar WR that is on a new team in the Super Bowl seems to find a way in the End Zone? In the past decade I can think of OBJ, AB, and Alshon. 

At  +500 I feel like I’ve gotta take a shot in the dark here on DHop. I really think Chiefs will be forced to throw a lot this game which means I can so see Worthy and Kelce getting the most attention from the Birds. This leaves us to a DHop TD in the red zone ??? +500 why not take a shot. 

DeVonta Smith 2+ TDs (+2200) .33u

I’ve been saying it for the past week and a half now. Super Bowl Sunday will be a DeVonta day. Trust.

King Will’s Picks:

Saquon Barkley 2+ TDs (+290) 2u

This one’s a no brainer. Saquon’s the best guy on the field every time he’s out there. The Chiefs proved last week that they may be able to stop the TushPush. While Chris Jones and the run defense has been a strength of the Chiefs throughout the dynasty… Christian McCaffery was able to gash the Chiefs run D in last years Super Bowl, and Saquon has proved him and the eagles Oline are on a different level from that. This is an unstoppable power run team. Hammer his overs while there’s still some value.

Burg’s Picks:

Jalen Hurts 200+ Passing Yards (-160) 1u

Chiefs are too smart of a team to let Saquon dominate the game. Jalen hurts will HAVE to throw in this game at least enough to get 200 yards.

Isiah Pacheco 25+ Rushing Yards (+105) 1u

This little yards for such good value is worth a shot. He’s bound to break one off.

Patrick Mahomes o250.5 Pass Yds (-110) 1u

Super Bowl Mahomo should hit this line easily. He will find a way to get to 25 pass yards even if he needs help to do it. And by that I mean his butt buddies in the black and white will help him. He averages 267 yards in the super bowl and has only hit the under on this line one time in his 4 trips to this game. Chiefs run game has been nothing special this year so expect them to air it out all game. 

Xavier Worthy o55.5 Rec Yds (-110) 1u

It appears to me that Worthy has established himself as the no.1 target in this offense with Rice’s campaign ending early this year and has really come a long way since the beginning of his rookie season in the NFL. With Kelce being hit or miss currently, I expect Worthy to be that reliable pass catcher for Mahomes in this game and has big play ability which makes this line a no brainer for me. The alt lines of 70+ and 80+ are also great value in my opinion. Biggest stage in the entire football world, let’s see what this kid has got.

AJ Brown u70.5 Receiving Yds (-110) 1u

In theory AJ should hit the over on this line, but I think the eagles are gonna have a real tough time throwing the ball in this game. Chiefs are gonna blitz the hell outta hurts this game and he’s gonna have to get the ball out of his hands quick. Ya a couple deep balls to AJ brown and this line is smacked but I don’t think it will be that easy and I’m anticipating the Eagles to stick with what got them here, which is running the damn rock. Personally I just don’t think AJ will get a lot of targets in this game and I don’t think it’s gonna be easy to feed him the ball. I’m callin on Fent Mcduffie to lock this fool down.

Dominant defensive line play always shows up in the Super Bowl. The Chiefs biggest weakness is their Oline and the best player on the field is Jalen Carter. Look for Hurts to step into the hands of a waiting Chris Jones on an attempted scramble. Jones is a legend and Carter is a future legend, those types of players always show up on the stat sheets in Super Bowls.

I would never bet a Super Bowl triple crown here, but I believe Saquon creates value here. The simple fact that he’s playing locks him into the leading rusher spot and makes it highly unlikely Hurts will throw for more yards then Mahomes. Basically this requires us to have confidence in a leading receiver. Last year Juwan Jennings made hay due to his savvy route running, and the chiefs corners were ready for Deebo and Aiyuk. I believe AJ Brown will be taken out of this game by KC which will create opportunities for Smith and Goedert.

The rest of this lay is just who I think could score. Hunt will probably score when they get an inevitable pass interference call and the ball is placed at the one. Then Devonta and Worthy are just guys who can score at any moment. They both have that knack for getting the ball in space then breaking off a big one for a score.

Now Mahomes is probably winning this. I bet on KC to win and they probably will win. I want them to win. I cannot stand Philly. That being said, I also do like money and I’m a genius so I always have a backup plan.

Mahomes to me is not worth the MVP bet, so I’m taking 2 Eagle MVP bets that honestly have a solid chance at winning the award if they were to win the game.

I just have a feeling about DeVonta this game. Had a feeling about Gronk years ago against the Chiefs and now I’m getting the same feeling for DeVonta this year. This will be a DeVonta show! Why not sprinkle the MVP if they win. I hope they lose, but if they do win, it’ll be thanks to a DeVonta master class performance.

If the Eagles win it’s for 2 reasons. Hurts was able to successfully throw the ball AND their defense stopped Mahomes. Baun has been the Captain of this Philly defense all year long setting the tone for the young dogs they have. It’s only right taking a sprinkle here on Baun.

This is almsot impossible because we would need Mahomes to not do much, however just enough to let Butker keep them in this game.

If we are being real, this is a dumb MVP pick, but you never know! Maybe we get the first Kicker super Bowl MVP? I mean the media has been talking about a Jake Elliot Super Bowl MVP for the past two weeks. Flip the script!
