EPL Unfiltered: Week 34
Would you look at that? Do you see that, Arsenal? I don’t mean to startle you but in Manchester City’s worst season in years, they are only six points behind you. How did that happen? I guess beating Crystal Palace isn’t for everyone perhaps? Oh, and to add some more fuel to the flame, it looks like Pep Guardiola and his wife are getting back together. Pray for the rivals. Pray for the newly promoted Leeds and Burnley. I can just imagine what next season’s City side is going to do to them. A City stoppage time winner on Tuesday against Aston Villa? The chef’s kiss. Icing on the cake. Keep resting for the ass kicking you’re about to receive from PSG, Arsenal. We are coming.

Chelsea v. Everton | 7:30am EST
Chelsea absolutely stole a win away from Fulham last weekend and I am unhappy about it. Fulham fully deserved to claim all three points from that match. And if they would have scored a second, they probably would have. Anyway, we move. Don’t look now, but Everton are currently sitting in 13th place. Which is above Manchester United, Tottenham, and West Ham. Who would’ve thought? David Moyes is doing something magical at that club and they just might have him run it back next season. If Everton can find a reliable striker that can deliver consistently, they could aim for top ten next season. Everton will surely bring the game to Chelsea with their counter attacks. Chelsea will dominate possession and will force Everton to not make mistakes. I’m looking forward to this one only because I need Chelsea to not get all three points, they can’t get away with it again. With a win, Chelsea will match Forest’s points total at 60, ahead on goal differential, but Forest will have a game in hand. We will have to see the result for Newcastle to get an idea on what Forest need to do next week to maintain top four in the table. Bet the under. 0-0 last time out.
Newcastle United v. Ipswich Town | 10:00am EST
Ipswich Town try to look competent challenge level: Eddie Howe just defeated pneumonia and will probably lay his nuts on your face.
Brighton & Hove Albion v. West Ham United | 10:00am EST
Let me start off by saying that I would rather watch a league two match over this one. These two teams had such high expectations for this season and they just seem to be stuck in the middle of something at the moment. West Ham have not won since the Leicester game on February 27th and Brighton haven’t won since March 8th. It is almost May. That is not what you want from your football side. If you’re new here, I have been saying for weeks now that I had so much hope for West Ham since the beginning of the season, especially with the amount of talent that they have on the books. Brighton came out the break flying in the beginning of the season and ever since like December they have just been so inconsistent. They have been hovering around the 10th position give or take for a while now. West Ham have just been on a slow and steady decline even after appointing Graham Potter. Brighton are 0-2-3 in their last five and West Ham are 0-3-2 in the last five, so it is probably safe to say that we probably will see an incredible display of subpar performances and a snoozer of a match. There are three other matches on at 10 so just pick any of those over this one.

Bournemouth v. Manchester United | 9:00am EST
Bournemouth please do us all a favor and lose this one so all of the United fans can get all hyped up for their Europa league match on Thursday, just for them to get let down just one more time this season. But, if sacrifice isn’t in the works for this one, I guess just a repeat of last time will do. To jog your memory, Bournemouth beat these sorry ass United boys 3-0 at Old Trafford in December. I would go even further if they want to top that score, I would go on record and would say something nice about the Cherries every match day next season. You have my word. Also, I am seeing reports that Amad Diallo is apparently back in training? How did this happen? I thought that guy was done for the season. Who am I kidding? I do not care. You could bring back CR7 in that squad and I would not bat an eye, let alone an Amad Diallo. Who even is that? Up the Cherries.
