- Location: Pebble Creek Golf Club – Colts Neck, New Jersey
Course Preview
Pebble Creek Golf Club in Colts Neck, NJ, opened in 1998 as a public 18-hole, par-71 course designed by Hal Purdy, transforming former farmland into a scenic 6,200-yard layout. Known for its gently rolling terrain, strategic bunkers, and water hazards on 11 holes, it offers a challenging yet accessible experience. Recent renovations have enhanced its bunkers and greens, maintaining its reputation for country club-quality conditions. Hosting local tournaments and charity events, Pebble Creek combines modern clubhouse amenities with a community-focused atmosphere, making it a premier golfing destination in Monmouth County, just an hour from New York City and down the street from the beach.

Key Storylines
1. New Faces and Debuts
15 Golfers will be making their ReRack Golf Major debuts this weekend. Out of those 15, 10 Players are making their ReRack Golf Association debut. Many new faces will be out and about the first weekend of August.
2. Lambo’s Jacket Defense
The 2024 ReRack Open Winner will be looking to defend his trophy and jacket going into this weekend. Although he has been on the decline this season, can he turn it up a notch at one of his favorite courses?
3. New Format
After last season, the ReRack Golf Association announced that all Major Tournaments (ReRack Invitational & The ReRack Open) will be handicap events. This should create a more balanced and competitive leaderboard compared to last year’s major.
4. Riding in Hot for the 2025 Season Conclusion
Evan Dickerson, Matt Fitzsimmons, and Logan Whelan are 3 golfers everyone should be aware of entering this tournament.
Dickerson, Signature event winner at the Best Ball Challenge back in May, has made it known for over the past year he is not leaving the state of New Jersey without his Pink Jacket.
Fitz is just coming off his first ReRack Golf Association win, securing a Signature Event W at the July 4th Classic, and is currently playing some of the best golf of his life right now.
Logan Whelan is cruising, entering this tournament with a Win at the ReRack Invitational Major and a 3rd Place spot at the July 4th Classic.
5. Dark Horse Watch
Three golfers to keep eyes on after this past week’s practice rounds include Convery, Dupont, and Smitty. All three seem like they have all found a groove heading into this weekend.
Don’t be surprised to see these three names near the top of the leaderboard.
6. Round 1 Group to Watch
Cassidy, Dupont, and Woody being grouped together for Round 1 is a complete recipe for disaster. Keep an eye out to see if everyone in this group folds right away or if we get a picture-perfect 1v1v1 match. It won’t be in between; it will be one of the two options. Complete chaos.
Player Breakdowns (Handicaps)
Evan (14)
RRGA History
- 1st (Champion) in 2025 Best Ball Challenge
Evan comes into this tournament as the #2 ranked golfer in the ReRack Golf Association rankings and the favorite to win the tournament. The man is simply the best golfer in the tournament and we know we are going to get a movie anytime he is playing.
He told us he ain’t leaving Jersey without the jacket!
Big expectations.
Richie (15)
Making his RRGA debut, we are curious to see how Richie performs in his debut. We are excited to see how he plays.
Fitz (20)
RRGA History
- 2nd in 2024 ReRack Open (*MAJOR*)
- 3rd in 2025 Best Ball Challenge
- 3rd in 2025 ReRack Invitational (*MAJOR*)
- 1st (Champion) in 2025 July 4th Classic
The new #1 Golfer in the RRGA is ready for Major Weekend. Heading into his 3rd career major weekend, Fitz has yet to finish worse than a Top 3 finish. The man is on the verge of a major victory, and this could be it!
We expect to see him in contention Sunday afternoon. He’s inevitable.
Lambo (21)
RRGA History
- 1st (Champion) in 2024 ReRack Open (*MAJOR*)
- 4th in 2025 Best Ball Challenge
- T6th in 2025 ReRack Invitational (*MAJOR*)
- T4th in July 4th Classic
The first ever ReRack Open Champion is back in Colts Neck to defend his trophy. Lambo has been all over the place this season and has yet to finish in the Top 3 in his past three events. Returning to his home battlefield, does that all turn around?
Teddy (21)
Mr. Teddy finally making his RRGA debut. Swing smooth, soar back, so who knows what we get here. Regardless, we are expecting some good golf out of Ted here this weekend.
Joe Cassidy (24)
RRGA History
- 2nd in July 4th Classic
Made his debut in RRGA couple weeks ago and showed he has what it takes to compete for a jacket. If he can avoid his hooks off the box, don’t be shocked to see him in the primetime group Sunday morning.
Log (25)
RRGA History
- 3rd in 2024 ReRack Open (*MAJOR*)
- 7th in 2025 Best Ball Challenge
- 1st (Champion) in 2025 ReRack Invitational (*MAJOR*)
- 3rd in 2025 July 4th Classic
Well, this man is on a run of his life over the past month with a Major victory and a Top 3 finish in the July 4th Signature Event.
History has shown he comes to play for Major Weekend. Expect to see this man make a run for the 2025 Major Sweep.
Parker (28)
RRGA History
- 6th in 2024 ReRack Open (*MAJOR*)
- 5th in 2025 Best Ball Challenge
Well, we’ve been able to see Parker twice in action in the RRGA, once this season and once last year. The question, yet again, for Parker here is which Parker shows up? If we get the locked-in version, this man can compete with anyone. Great iron play and short game will go far at this course. Let’s see which version shows up.
Smitty (28)
RRGA History
- 4th in 2024 ReRack Open (*MAJOR*)
- 8th in 2025 Best Ball Challenge
If you read the key storylines you know we think highly of Smitty here in this tournament. He had a solid outing here last year and his game has only improved. Excited to see what Smitty can do this Major weekend.
Woody (28)
RRGA History
- 5th in 2024 ReRack Open (*MAJOR*)
- 6th in 2025 Best Ball Challenge
- 2nd in 2025 ReRack Invitational (*MAJOR*)
- T4th in 2025 July 4th Classic
This poor bastard. After a brutal collapse in his last major at the ReRack Invitational Challenge, we have no clue what kind of Woody shows up. The kid can play ball but the thing is what does a 5 stroke lead collapse on Championship Sunday do to someone? I guess we will find out Open Weekend.
Despite all that previous major noise, Woody is playing excellent golf. If he keeps his head clear and just plays his game, his irons could carry him to a Pink Jacket victory.
Keep an eye out on his group Round 1 with Cassidy & Dupont as that will be a complete cluster fuck. Great Television though.
Convery (29)
RRGA History
- 6th in 2025 July 4th Classic
If Convery can avoid trouble and minimize mistakes, he’s a contender for sure in this tournament. We saw glimpses of him catching fire during the July 4th classic at a difficult course. He just played an excellent practice round this past weekend, and it seems like his game is only improving each round.
Keep a lookout for Convery this weekend and don’t be shocked to see him in the hunt Championship Sunday.
KB (29)
Making his debut in the RRGA. Like many, we also don’t know what to expect from KB here. What we do know is his iron play is sharp when at its best, and if he can get off the tee, we expect him to make a run for this jacket.
Emperor Cassidy (29)
RRGA History
- 7th in 2024 ReRack Open (*MAJOR*)
- 9th in 2025 Best Ball Challenge
- T6th in 2025 ReRack Invitational (*MAJOR*)
- 7th in 2025 July 4th Classic
Clearly, he has not had a great track record so far in his early career with the RRGA, but the good news for the Emperor is that this is his best course. If he can get rid of his short game woes (which has been the best part of his game) and manage to keep the ball in play off the box, who knows what can happen here at Pebble.
A very inconsistent streaky golfer who needs to keep his mental game sharp and play a smart game of golf. If he can manage to do all the above, maybe we get that run from him that we’ve been waiting on since Nam.
Dupont (29)
RRGA History
- 12th in 2025 Best Ball Challenge
Horrific debut back in May during the first Signature Event of the season, but looking for a MAJOR bounce back.
After his practice round with Lambo, Cassidy, and Dylan last week I think it’s safe to say his last RRGA outing was a fluke. The kid was swinging smooth and keeping his shots in play. If he can avoid the penalties, expect him to make a climb up the leaderboard.
Berger (29)
RRGA History
- 10th in 2025 Best Ball Challenge
This will be Berg’s second appearance in a RRGA Tournament; however his first major. Berg finished 10th place back in the Best Ball Challenge in May.
Key for Berg here will be to limit his Iron woes. If he stays clear of blowups costed by his iron play, Berg may be able to make a Cinderella run here. Berg is the fan favorite heading into the weekend, so let’s see if the positive energy gives him an extra boost.
Chris Shannon (29)
Making his RRGA Debut. We are not sure what to expect, a good athlete, hence the Vegas odds show! Chris, don’t let Vegas down.
Handley (29)
RRGA History
- T6th in 2025 ReRack Invitational (*MAJOR*)
Handley is a golfer that if he can slow his game down and avoid crucial penalties off the tee, he can make a name for himself in any tournament.
Not sure how he will square off here due to the deep talent in this Major, but can definitely see Handley being in the middle of the pack. If he has his A game, his driver will be carrying him to a solid finish.
We just hope he shows up to his tee time on time.
Barnitz (29)
Making his debut in the RRGA, we have no clue what to expect from Steve here. Great athlete, we have heard, so that should come into play here! Steve, if you read this, we are sorry we don’t have an in-depth breakdown.
Susser (29)
Making his debut in the ReRack Golf Association. We don’t know what to expect from Susser, but he is a Rumson man. So he has to have some type of golf game, right? Excited to see Susser debut in the RRGA.
Tom Sullivan (29)
Making his RRGA debut and new to the game of golf. For Tom here, we may not be seeing any crazy top finish here, but a middle-of-the-pack finish would be huge momentum going into next season.
The one practice round the media saw him at was not pretty, but he did show a lot of potential with a few par opportunities. If Tom can play up to his potential, he will shock some heads.
JHill (29)
Making his debut in the ReRack Golf Association. We don’t know what to expect from JHill. JHill, the people are rooting for you. The 30:30 would go crazy.
Dylan (29)
Making his first-ever RRGA appearance, Dylan is the biggest underdog (in RRGA Golf History) heading into this tournament, and even he knows it.
We honestly don’t expect much especially after he came out and made a statement to the media that this will be his first time of the Summer picking up his golf clubs for real.
We just hope he has fun and plays at a good pace.
